Poetry: Everywhere, Everything, Everytime
It’s hard to believe I’m not making a home with you
My dear
When I’m here, you’re everywhere
You’re wrapped in blankets beside me though miles away
My love
In your arms, I find home
You’re in the laughs
Ringing ever slightly empty
Shared when you’re not here
You’re in the tears
Running thick through mascara
My finger hovering over your name, your call
You’re in the food I make
The shows we watch
The showers I take
Thinking of the last one
The last time
And waiting for the next
Yes; always waiting for the next
Life with you is holding my breath
Waiting for the next moment
I see you
And remember the person I am; not what they say about me
You’re here in everything we do
Slipping through cracks
