Nowhere is Making the List(s)

My debut novel, NOWHERE—a horror-thriller set in rural Appalachia—will be hitting shelves on March 25, 2025 (pre-order your copy here). Ahead of its release, however, it’s already making some fantastic lists:

Strand, one of NYC’s oldest and largest bookstores, named NOWHERE as a top pick for March 2025. Check out their website for information on how you can receive a signed first edition copy as well as Nowhere merch!

Best Thriller Books also featured Nowhere in their March reading list! Many thanks to Teresa Brock with BTB for her glowing review of the book which you can find here.

Teresa and I are planning to team up for an Instagram live soon. Stay tuned for details on my News page.

Much to my shock and delight, Mother Horror (otherwise known as the supreme Sadie Hartmann) included Nowhere as one of her most anticipated “Dark & Disturbing Books.” Believe me when I say, that is quite the compliment!

Placed further down this list for those Night Worms Book Club members out there who want to be surprised when their April package comes — Nowhere will be one of two books included in their monthly box!

If you’re interested in joining the club, check out the details here, but do it fast! The deadline for April’s package is coming quickly.

Nowhere made its way onto the Books, Bones & Buffy new TBR list in a partnership with ThatArtsyReaderGirl.com’s Top Ten Tuesday.

Prolific reviewer, fashionista, and author Ashley Hasty, of the Hasty Book List, received Nowhere along with some other fantastic upcoming books for Christmas this year.

My favorite part? Ashley paired her reading with a 2019 Ruffino Modus. Excellent choice—you can’t go wrong drinking red and reading Nowhere.

Gizmodo also included Nowhere in their list of '“64 New Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror Books Beaming Down in March.”

Shout out to GenX Scribbler in the comments for singling out Nowhere alongside Emily Carpenter’s Gothictown (which also sounds incredible) as his two most anticipated novels out of that very long list!

*Also, thanks to Gizmodo for making my best friend lose her mind when this came across her feed :)

Lastly (for now), I was absolutely thrilled to see Nowhere mentioned as one of Publishers Marketplace’s “Buzz Books” for Spring/Summer in their Publishers Lunch newsletter. Unbelievable to see my work alongside all these incredible voices in current literature!

WHEW! That’s the current tally of booklists/mentions in which Nowhere has recently been featured. March is turning out to be a very busy albeit lovely whirlwind. Be sure to check out my News and new Events pages for more upcoming info on appearances, signings, interviews, giveaways, and more!

Seen my little book of horrors elsewhere? Be sure to drop me a line at a.gunn.and.pen@gmail.com.

As always, stay wonderfully weird, friends <3
